Due to popular demand we have added extra dates for our Conservation Careers workshop! Please book in advance to attend. Conservation Careers is a 2-day opportunity focused solely on giving young people an insight into the careers on offer within zoos and conservation on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th April.
Covering zookeeping, education, veterinary, grounds maintenance, marketing and more, we aim to show off all the routes you could take to working in one of the most enviable job locations there is. Our friendly education team will lead the days and facilitate practical tasks and workshops alongside our wider staff team.
This course is ideal for those who are interested in working with animals, but aren’t sure exactly how they would like to do this yet. Each participant will receive a certificate and reference letter that can be used as evidence for college and university applications.
