Consent & Negotiation 201: Building & Expanding Your Risk Profile

Your risk profile in kink relates to how willing you are to participate in different activites in relation to the types, severity, and likelihood of the possible risk. As risk profiles are fluid and ever-evolving, this class will discuss how to start building your risk profile as well as for season players how to expand your risk profile into the edger territories of play.

This class explores how to thoughtfully and intentionally expand your personal risk profile within SM practices. Through discussions of consent, communication, emotional awareness, negotiation, physical safety, and aftercare, participants will examine how risk tolerance evolves over time and experience. Together, we will explore tools for informed decision-making, navigating fear and curiosity, and building sustainable kink practices rooted in consent, trust, accountability, and self-awareness. Open to all experience levels.
