Leading Australian actor, director, and teacher Andrea Moor (H2O, Heartbreak High, Elvis, Spit, Darby and Joan, and more) is making a special trip to Cairns to deliver an information session and workshops dedicated to theatre and screen performance.
In this workshop, you will be introduced to current consent protocols and industry practices used across theatre, film, and training environments. Producers and directors have a professional responsibility to ensure that all creative processes are conducted safely and respectfully.
You will learn how to apply practical, straightforward protocols that support the wellbeing of cast and crew, and how to identify situations where the expertise of a trained intimacy coordinator is required. By the end of the workshop, you will understand the importance of these practices and how you can actively contribute to a culture of safety and consent in your creative work.
Please note that this workshop does not form part of any formal intimacy coordination accreditation.
