Conscious Relationship and Core Wounding

In the beginning everything is romantic, exciting and fulfilling. Anything that the other does or says is cute or sexy, and the sex is frequent, passionate and intense. Then a point comes, it may be a week or a year or a few years later, when suddenly it seems as if everything has gone wrong. There is more fighting than sex. The things that used to be adorable are now frustrating. As much as you love your partner, you just don’t get along anymore. Maybe you slog it out for a while, or maybe you just rip the bandaid off and move on, as much as it pains both of you. Hoping that the next relationship will be a better fit, or you’ll be luckier.

The deeper knowing is that *any* relationship will go through these patterns. This is because we draw people in that are perfectly suited to activate our 'core wounds'.

In this workshop we will understand experientially and intellectually how our childhood wounding continues to play itself out again and again throughout our life, especially in our intimate relationships. How we unconsciously find partners who will unintentionally wound us the same way that our early caretakers did, and how we are unconsciously wound our partners as well.

With this awareness we can begin to transform the way that we engage in relationship. This will allow us to be fully loving, boundaried, creative, and autonomous in our intimate relationships, which results in deep connection and lasting love.
