A creative arts program that uses art, drama, poetry, and music to support healthy development of a child's awareness to social issues. The goal of this program is to allow children aged 4-7 to begin to become consciously aware of age-appropriate social issues through an artistic lens. Additionally, this program aims to provide resources for underrepresented folx to see themselves in media.Led by a Certified Music Therapist this program will focus on:
-raising social awareness
-building empathy
-understanding diversity and inclusion
-examining privilege and social structure
This group is run in partnership with the Guelph Public Library.
