Super excited to be back in Glebe to offer the dance. Its been a while. Am so looking forward to be with the Sydney community.Join us in our beautiful dancing space at Glebe to come together in community at this potent moment to dance with what is present and wanting to move and shift so we can return to balance and equilibrium with the transformative practise of 5Rhythms dance, a simple accessible movement practise that ignites your own creative movement.
There are no steps to follow, you are invited to follow your own dance, guided by a journey through the 5Rhythms movement map of flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness that together create a wave. When we enter the flow of our own dance, our mind begins to relax, and the deeper dance of our heart and soul begins to open. We are invited to dance with whatever is present, welcoming all parts of ourselves, allowing release and transmutation of stuck energy that is ready to be transformed through the dance.
Come home to your body, reconnect with your heart, soul, and essence. This movement map brings us back into our centre, to connect with our inner resources, the part of us that is fully alive, fully connected to source, and the rejuvenating energies of the universe.
Suitable for all ages and levels of experience and physical ability. No dance experience is necessary.

Michelle Mahrer is a 5 Rhythms dance teacher, dance therapist and an award winning film maker based in Sydney. She is passionate about the healing and transformative power of dance and has been leading dance classes and workshops in Sydney and Melbourne for the past 15 years. She has made numerous films about dance including all of Gabrielle Roth's teaching videos and "Dances of Ecstasy" a sensory journey into the world of trance and ecstasy experienced through dance and rhythm
