About this Event

The breath allows our bodies to release this information in a safe and nurturing environment. Some of the many benefits of breathwork include:

  • * stress relief
  • * reduce symptoms of depression
  • * sharpen focus
  • * help with pain management
  • * increase energy levels
  • * increase self awareness
  • * improve sleep
  • * release toxins
  • * improve digestion
  • * boost mood
  • * supports immune system
  • * increased nervous system capacity

Breathwork is a powerful healing modality and although it is a deeply relaxing and enjoyable process, it can result in temporary physiological changes in the body and also physical and emotional release. This may feel like:

  • Tingling
  • Dizziness
  • Trembling, shaking or other physical sensations
  • Emotional experiences
  • Experience of energy moving through your body
  • Tetany (aka lobster claws or t-rex arms) - characterized by cramping, tightening, tingling, paralyzing, or numbing sensations of the hands and/or feet. It is a very common occurrence during Breathwork, and if it happens to you the first thing you need to know is that there is nothing to fear, just keep breathing through it and it will release when the process is complete.

Please wear comfortable and loose clothing. Bring a water bottle, a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and eye mask. You are also welcome to bring a journal and pen and anything to support your journey such as crystals or oracle cards.

I will guide and support you throughout your process, using my voice, music, essential oils, Reiki and sound. I am a Reiki Master, Intuitive Coach and Certified Senior Breathwork Facilitator.

Please note: This style of breathwork is contraindicated for people with the following conditions: ashtma or other lung disorders, epilepsy, diagnosed brain or abdominal aneurysm, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, cardiovascular disease (heart problems/stroke/uncontrolled high blood pressure), uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid conditions, pregnancy, some psychiatric conditions, psychosis, recent surgery or fractures, acute infectious illness or epilepsy, severe hypertension, glaucoma, or active spiritual emergency.
