Connect with nature, yourself and a small group as we journey into the breath, all experiences are welcome
About this Event

Connect with nature, yourself and a small group as we journey into the breath. This journey is on step on the path towards a self compassionate state of being

The breath is a hugely powerful tool when used with presence. From our first breath to our last, the breath is a constant companion, a rhythm of holding and letting go.

What you can expect from the breathwork session:

- Deeper connection with self & natural world

- Increased relaxation and reduction in anxiety

- Improved resilience to stress

- Movement of "stuck" emotions

- Feelings of elation and empowerment

- New insights and ways of perceiving the world

- Time to be in a calm, resourcing and supportive space

If you wish to gain more control over your state of being and understand yourself on a deeper level this session is for you.

The session will be held at Grow Wilder, a beautiful urban nature haven where the land is managed with humans and wildlife in mind. Its a perfect place to slow down and engage in some natural mindfulness before and after the breathwork session. We will go over natural mindfulness techniques and how we can draw intention from our mindful presence, drawing on the wisdom of the natural world to learn about ourselves.

This session is a conscious connected breathwork session. By placing conscious awareness onto our breath we are brought into direct connection with the present moment and our own physiology. By holding our attention on our breath and directing it we can choose to move into activating or relaxing our nervous system. Through this we can begin to access parts of ourselves that may have been neglected for some time. In this safe space we explore, release and integrate these parts of ourselves using the power of the breath.

What is conscious connected breathwork? A conscious connected breathwork session involves mindful attention placed on the breath. You will begin using the breathing technique in a slow and comfortable pace and gradually build up to a peak. Then again a gradual slowing down of the breathing technique until returning to normal breathing. The session will be aided with music as this helps wit the journeying aspect of the session and can help to guide you. Your facilitator will go through the technique in detail beforehand and answer any questions you may have ensuring you get the most out of the session

Ainsley, your facilitator has trained in Ecopsychology with Natural Academy and completed training in Conscious Connected Breathwork with Integrative Breath. He has a deep connection with the natural world and the body and wholly believes in each one of our innate abilities to "find the medicine" within our experiences.

"The natural world and the breath are tools we can interface with to learn about ourselves on the deepest levels, revealing ever greater depths of the soul"
