Conscious Connected Breathwork and Soundbath

Conscious Connected Breathwork gives us an opportunity to connect with our breath, in doing so we can find a renewed sense of joy, peace of mind and purpose.

There are many different breathing techniques. During this session we will be practicing Conscious Connected Breath which involves a circular breath pattern practiced through the mouth. This can allow you to break through restrictive thought patterns and enter into an altered state of consciousness. Breathwork can be used to help to improve a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, insomnia and more.

Susie will guide you through the breathwork journey accompanied by music. She will support you to find your full unique breath pattern and help you to breathe through any resistance. Following your breathwork journey you will be given the space to rest and integrate your experience with a live multi-instrument soundbath by Jennie designed to be soothing. After the soundbath you will be given the opportunity to share with the group your experience should you feel called to do so, before we part ways.

The breathwork journey and soundbath will be done lying down on yoga mats. All mats, blankets and bolsters are provided. Please wear warm comfortable clothes. Please avoid caffeine and eat light so not to show up on a full stomach. This is a sober event and we ask that you do not show up under the influence of any recreational drugs or alcohol.

To give the best possible care you will be sent a waiver form to complete prior to the time of the workshop. Breathwork and sound healing are both considered healing modalities, however group work is not always appropriate for everyone. This workshop is not suitable for anyone with the following conditions: pregnancy, bipolar, schizophrenia or psychosis. Please let us know on your waiver form if you have any medical issues or contact us with any questions.
