Join us for a fun-filled day at the 2024 kick-off event for Conscious City Cleanup? We're a club committed to the stewardship of Detroit through community-organized cleanup events. Our mission is to bring together people of all backgrounds to create a lasting positive impact on our city, fostering a sense of belonging and investment in our community.

The event will be a lively blend of volunteering, socializing, and learning about our mission. You'll have the chance to meet new friends, break a sweat, explore the city, and give back in a meaningful way through sustainable action. ? Highlights:
Volunteering: Surprise, surprise, our kick-off event is also a garden party! ? What better way to jump into our season than to get your hands a little dirty by helping beautify a local green space!

• Garden work includes: planting dahlia bulbs (1000+), flower seeds, and transplanting veggie starts. Mulching beds/paths, finishing the fence, linseed oiling wooden stakes/compost bin wood.

Socializing: Meet new friends and connect with like-minded individuals who care about our city. ?

Learning: Discover more about our mission and how you can get involved in future events. ?

Fun: Enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with laughter, music, food & refreshments, camaraderie, and a shared passion for a cleaner Detroit. ??

For this special occasion, we suggest a donation of $5, which will support our efforts to make Detroit cleaner and more sustainable. ?
