In this free Lunch & Learn, we'll explore how genuine human connection plays a vital role in suicide prevention and overall mental wellbeing. Learn why checking in with friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors matters, how to recognize when someone may be struggling, and practical ways to start supportive conversations with confidence.
Together, we'll discuss how we can help reduce isolation, build resilience and create communities where people feel seen, valued, and supported. Whether you're looking to strengthen your relationships at work, at home, or in your community, you'll leave with simple tools to help make connection a part of everyday life to increase mental wellness.
This in-person Lunch & Learn is provided at no cost. Lunch from the Horizons Cafe is provided. This training is led by Kara Grafft, Director of Quality & Training at Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
Registration is required.
