About this Event
Housing Associations and Local Authorities are facing severe challenges.
With increasingly restricted budgets and services being strained to support more people, these sectors are forced to do more with fewer resources. This challenge is combined with high debt interest rates, mandatory improvement of home standards, strict energy efficiency objectives, and green targets.
To alleviate pressure, a drive for operational efficiency and improved productivity is central to success and technology offers the opportunity to deliver services more cost-effectively, but with so many touch points, are there more efficient ways to connect to our communities?
One way of doing this is the single front door. It provides a single point of contact between citizens and services. It triages individuals to ensure they receive the right service(s) at their point of need whether adult social care; tech-enabled care; debt advice, or digital inclusion.
In this roundtable we will be joined by speakers including Matt Adam, Founder of We Are Group, a champion of connecting communities to ask how we can create more integrated services and discuss whether the single front door approach improves outcomes.
This roundtable is for those in senior roles in the public sector and involved in shaping the future of community support services in local government and housing.
