🌈 ConnectFest is coming to the Northshore to kick off LGBTQ+ History Month!!!! We have plans to paint the Northshore with a vibrant burst of Pride! Building on our Connect to Pride event last year, we're hosting a Pride event in Slidell, Louisiana, unfolding on October 5, 2024, at Slidell's own Heritage Park from 10am to 4pm.
Join us for a celebration of our shared experiences, strength, and resilience. We are lining up a array of activities, from a Pride Market featuring local vendors! Come dance to the pulsating beats of a DJ set and a diverse range of live entertainment.
Little ones will have a ball with kid-friendly activities in the Kid Zone and the playground of the park will be available for our use!
Don't worry about food......we will have food trucks and other food vendors! We are working to bring back our Artist's Showcase featuring amazing work of local LGBTQIA+ artists.
Our community organizations and healthcare services will be on-hand to provide valuable resources and support.
ConnectFest isn't just an event; it's a symbol of our community's strength, diversity, and pride. So mark your calendars and join us for a celebration of love, unity, and acceptance.
