About this Event

Cost:  FREE for cooperative members, $50 full-day PD for attendees outside the cooperative, $25 half-day PD for  attendees outside the cooperative (Speech CE credit - $25)


About the Workshop:

Participants will increase their knowledge of ethical and evidence-based assessment practices that reveal students’ strengths and needs to support regulation, connection and growth.


Anticipated Outcomes:

  • Participants will increase their skills in connecting assessment information to regulation, unmet needs, and support planning
  • Participants will increase their understanding of what each assessment means and how to utilize assessments in evaluations
  • Participants will collaborate to find reliable assessments when the ones currently being utilized don’t give the information needed.
  • Participants will develop meaningful, student-centered evaluations using “Language that Lifts” (rewriting observational language that is strength based, student centered, and regulation informed)
  • Participants will build a network of thought partners through collaborative discussions
