Connected Kids, Supported Parents: Fall 2026 Parenting Series
About this Event
Parenting can feel overwhelming when children are struggling. Connected Kids, Supported Parents is a supportive 4-part workshop series designed to give caregivers of elementary and early middle school aged children practical tools, greater understanding, and realistic strategies for strengthening connection and supporting emotional well-being at home.
Each 90-minute workshop focuses on a different topic and can be attended separately or together as series. They will be hosted in a small, home-like environment with attendance capped at 20 participants to provide attendees the comfort to ask questions and participate.
These therapist-led workshops are warm, practical, and nonjudgmental, helping parents leave with tools they can begin using immediately in everyday family life. Led by Lisa Harris, LPC, RPT, and held at The Center for Creative Arts and Play Therapy in York.
