WHAT ARE THESE MONTHLY DATING MIXERS ALL ABOUT AND WHO ARE THEY FOR?

Meeting people and making authentic connections can feel like an uphill challenge nowadays which is why these Monthly Singles Dating Mixers have been introduced ...to give singles aged 35+, the opportunity to meet in an intentional and exciting way. But these mixers are a bit different. They:

• Are run once a month in a venue(s) in Central London or in immediate surrounding areas.
• Each event has a different theme or activity. So if one event does not suit or appeal there will be plenty of others that hopefully will appeal. The focus is on novelty and variety.
• For every event , when you RSVP that will include a plus one of someone of the opposite sex who is single and looking to date too. That means you are encouraged to bring someone of the opposite sex with you who is also single and looking. That can be your "wing" man or woman who can be a sibling, a best friend, a work colleague etc...Purchasing 1 RSVP essentially means you can split the cost of the ticket. However, if you really do not have a plus one to bring, don’t worry, as you can still attend the event at the full price. But what if you would prefer to bring someone of the same sex as your plus one? You are more than welcome to invite your same gender friends too –however, the principle still stands. Your friend of the same gender will need to purchase a new ticket and invite a plus one of the opposite gender, if they wish to benefit from the deal. Two members of the same gender cannot be on the same ticket. This has been introduced to ensure a better balance of women-men to show up on the night. The beauty of coming with a plus one is that you're providing an opportunity for them to also make a new connection. Plus coming with someone you know takes the pressure off coming to an event where you are meeting new people.
• Each event is listed with only a general area of where the event will be run.The night before the event after RSVPs close at 9.30pm all attendees will get a message from me with my contact number and exact meet up details, and any pertinent last minute information. This is because all my in person events are run as walk-ins. I do arrange with the venue beforehand which is why it is important that whoever RSVPs attends. But no deposits, or room rentals etc.. are involved with the venue. My events are run in an exclusive and bespoke manner offering attendees a bit of mystery about the event until just before it is run. This also means that people cannot just turn up to the venue without RSVPing.Please ensure that you have an up to date email address so you can be contacted via Eventbrite and should you not receive the message the night before the event with the exact location please message me asap. I do not give refunds for no shows if an attendee claims they did not get meet up location notification as I have no way of knowing this unless I am contacted. I am contactable on my mobile phone around the time of the event, so if you cannot find the venue or the group, please feel free to get in touch by phone. This is for phone calls only. I do not reply to text messages.

WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THIS MONTH'S SINGLES DATING MIXER :

You are invited to come out and play some pool!

But there is a twist...

We will be meeting up at a pub in Central London and we will be having some drinks, something to eat and we will be playing some pool as well. The focus is on the activity of shooting some pool.But the twist is this: for all those men and women that do know how to play the game, they will be showing anyone else of the oppposite sex how to shoot some pool, which should be a great way to break the ice!

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THESE MONTHLY DATING MIXERS :

This event and all the monthly Connected Exclusive Events Monthly Singles Dating Mixers are primarily being run as social mixers. There is no vetting or matchmaking happening before the event. It is a simple invitation for single men and women to come together and share an activity. Therefore no guarantee can be given that an even mix of women to men will attend, or whether whoever attends will match with someone else. On the day of the event, I , the organiser, have no control over who shows up. Every event is different and unique. I usually only run the dating mixers if there are both men and women that have RSVPd and I work with a certain minimum amount of RSVPs that are needed in order to make it worthwhile to run the event. Please be aware that regardless of whether many people turn up on the day or just a few people, please focus on establishing a quality connection with whomever shows up, as that is the point of why I run my events: for quality connections.

I do not offer refunds to attendees who are unhappy about the event not having an equal mix of men and women, not matching with someone,or not being happy about how many people showed up(whether that is too many people or too few people) or how or where the event is run.

The booking fee is not redeemable against any drinks/food or extras. Drinks (and extras like food etc..)are paid for by each person directly to the venue. There is no minimum spend at venues, unless this is specified.

WELCOME TO CONNECTED EXCLUSIVE EVENTS....

My name is Lou and it gives me great pleasure to offer events that connects people in meaningful and fun ways, while at the same time offering a more bespoke service that does not break the bank! I pride myself in making sure during my events that everyone feel welcome and included as I know how daunting it can be to meet new people! Here are a few things you need to know before RSVPing...

• The listed fee to RSVP to this event is non-refundable. On occasion there might be a need to reschedule events. This can be due to the weather(for outside/nature events) or many other unforeseen circumstances that can come up, which will make rescheduling an event a necessity. When this happens, attendees will automatically be moved to attend the new date of the rescheduled event. If the attendee is not available to attend the event on the rescheduled date, please get in touch and the fee paid will be used as a credit for any other event (online and in person) of the same ticketed value. No refunds/credits given for late arrivals, no shows, if you change your mind, if you can no longer attend, or claim not to have known the meet up point, or just don't like how or where the event was run etc.. If there is a concern that has not been listed on here, I will address it on a case by case basis. In these circumstances, if a refund is requested and granted this will be done minus Eventbrite fees.

• The booking fee to RSVP minimally covers the cost, time and fees necessary to put these events together and is set to encourage attendees to turn up to the event. My events are listed well ahead of time and RSVPs are open until 21:30 the night before the event.Reminders are sent out as well. Please do not RSVP unless you know you can attend. This allows me, the host, a chance to curate a better event for all and it creates a better experience for those that do show up on the day.

• As the organiser, I will take all possible precautions to ensure that this event is run as safely as possible for all attendees. By signing up and attending any of my events , you agree that your safety and personal belongings are your own responsibility and I am not responsible or liable for either.
