Connected Creatives: Resonance

Resonance is an immersive gathering designed for meaningful connection through sound healing and collective care. Hosted at Justin Hazelton’s new AND/OR cafe, this wellness event centers sound as a tool for emotional release and community building. Led by cultural strategist and wellness practitioner , featuring spins from , and live music.

Soundtracked by DJ Micki Blendz, collectively discuss the healing power of music while sharing your personal mood-elevating songs. Sound bathe with crystal bowls played by Afeni Grace. About Connected Creatives

Resonance is the second part of Connected Creatives, a five-part series designed to support the well-being of Charlotte-based artists and creatives – generously sponsored by the City of Charlotte and Charlotte is Creative. Rooted in the belief that healthy artists strengthen a city’s cultural landscape, the program brings creatives together through free public workshops that provide tools for enhanced mental and emotional health.

Each session in Connected Creatives blends self-care activities such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, journaling, and more with hands-on art-making and intentional conversation. Participants gain practical tools for wellness while building meaningful connections and support networks.
