Connect Sunday is the day to invite friends, family, and neighbors to join you during our Life Group hour. It is also for any of our church families that are not yet part of a Life Group.What is a Life Group?
Life Groups are small groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. They are where deeper relationships with others and with Christ are formed and built. They're the perfect place to get rooted in friendship and community. We have Life Groups for all ages. Our Life Groups are also encouraged to have get-togethers outside the walls of the church at various times throughout the year. It may be going to dinner, seeing a movie, or attending a live event; there are many different ways to gather.
I currently attend FBMD but don't attend a Life Group. What should I do?
Be here at 9:00 a.m. on the 28th, and we'll get you to a Life Group that works for you.
Bring Friend & Stay For Lunch!
After our morning worship service, plan on joining us for lunch in the Family Ministry Center! Invite your friends to stay, too! It's like the old-fashioned "dinner on the grounds," but don't worry—we'll be at tables in the air-conditioned. Bring a dish and another to share. You can drop off your dish before Life Group at our Welcome Center or in the Family Ministry Center kitchen.
Who should I invite?
Invite anyone! Start with friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Let's do this: think about five people you can text today, inviting them to join you for Connect Sunday! Tag them in on this event!
