Connect Over Coffee with Virginia Hands & Voices - Richmond

Our Friday coffee shop gatherings are returning to the Richmond area! If you are looking to get out of the house, or away from the office, come join us on Friday, November 7 at the Sunshine Cafe and Play from 9-11am in Stony Point Fashion Park, Richmond.

Whether you have young children, work with children who are deaf and hard of hearing, or have joined us in years past and your children are now in school, this event is for you! As we continue to grow our support in all regions of Virginia, we would love to connect with families in Richmond and bring regular events back to the area. Families of deaf and hard of hearing children, professionals and DHH adults are welcome. Sunshine Cafe doesn't have a coffee bar, so we are providing free donuts and coffee! Outside food/drink is also permitted.

We have the Sunshine Cafe reserved just for our group as each session is limited to 15 children. The space is designed for ages 0-5, so bring your little ones out and help us fill all 15 reserved spots, otherwise, we will release them back to the public. This event is free for our members - please email us for your unique code to apply during checkout. We are able to offer a discounted rate to non-members but all tickets must be purchased (for children) through Eventbrite by November 4. If your children are now school aged, you are still welcome to join us for some adult conversation!

DON'T FORGET SOCKS! Grippy socks (personal from home are permitted or you can purchase there) are required for littles in the play area and regular socks are required for adults in the play area for hygienic reasons.
