Open schooling is a revolutionary approach to education that leverages partnerships, technology, and open educational resources for learners to identify real-life problems and discuss solutions with their communities and science professionals. Real problems that students CARE about, want to KNOW more and DO action to intervene in the world and develop their skills. Open schooling promotes quality education for students to develop skills in sustainable careers and transition to digital and green innovation. This approach has the potential to break down barriers in education by expanding the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values that students need to succeed in this 21st century.

CICOS2023 will bring together the community of OS, with the objective of spreading and reflecting on practices in OS, overcoming barriers and exploring opportunities in OS and supporting achieving sustainable development goals through OS, disseminating results from CONNECT and other Open Schooling (OS) projects.
