Bad Dog Comedy Theatre and Sex T-Rex are honoured to announce the return of Blockbuster Week from May 11-16, 2026 at Videocabaret, a community gathering for some of Toronto’s most talented artists, Blockbuster Week is a beloved festival of brand new improvised comedies celebrating movies and television in a live, unscripted setting.
Blockbuster Week culminates on May 16 in a celebratory awards night called The Sexies, which sees Sex T-Rex awarding satirical yet heartfelt awards to all the artists in the festival.

About Bad Dog Theatre
The award-winning Bad Dog Theatre Company has specialised in the art of unscripted comedy and improvised performance since 1982. Sex T-Rex Comedy is a Toronto-based comedy troupe whose cinematic style, wild physicality and spot-on parody has delighted audiences since 2008.
