About this Event

This workshop will introduce you to the sacred dances and celebratory rhythms of the Congo. Class begins with a warm-up with isolations and stretches to prepare the body to move. Next you will learn information about the dances in the Kongolese tradition along with associated songs. Drums used in this workshop.
