You’re invited to a talk by Dr. Samir Shaheen-Hussain on Confronting Medical Colonialism. This talk will explore the lasting impacts of colonialism on healthcare and the urgent need for decolonization, cultural safety, and systemic change. We’ll also highlight the importance of global and Indigenous health and examine how historical and ongoing injustices shape health outcomes worldwide. The event will be held in person on the McGill Campus and virtually via Zoom (scan QR codes on poster or click links below for registration).
