The Café is a community event, an exciting and respectful space which is free to attend and where everyone is welcome. Come and play or speak, dance or listen or all four!
This is a special cafe as we will be holding our AGM (Annual General Meal) during the gathering and we are keen to bring people together from all commumities to plan how we can work together against the rising tide of intolerance prejudice and misinformation that is being used to divide our communities.
There will be music from Africa, south Asia and Europe. It’s an accepting space to trial new work, or play old favourites. It’s also a fantastic meeting place.
Bring and share food. Performances will be till 4 o clock when we will start our open meeting. People are free to interrupt the meeting with songs an dances if there is just too much talking.
There will be a café that provides drinks (voluntary contributions, give what you can) and we also ask for participants to bring and share snacks if possible.
So come to St Lukes, Church, Canning Crescent and join in this celebration of community.
