"Confessions of a Sugar Baby is the wildly true story of Allison Dayne, a struggling actress diagnosed with a rare blood disorder and given a deadline… literally. Faced with mounting medical bills, zero health insurance, and the horrifying realization that wellness is apparently for the rich, Allison discovers the righteous, chaotic, and unexpectedly glamorous path of becoming a sugar baby. Equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking, the show dives into survival, femininity, power, and what happens when Shakespeare meets Sugar.

Allison Dayne is an award-winning actor, writer, comedian, and filmmaker whose work blends dark comedy with emotional vulnerability. She is the recipient of the Atelier Alumni Award, Best Supporting Actor at the Indie International Film Festival, Critics Choice at the Atlanta Film Festival for her original play Unrequited, and Best Performer at the Utah Fringe Festival.

Her short film A King’s Curtain received “Best Film” honors at multiple festivals including Phoenix, AMT NYC, Burbank, and LA Film Shorts International Film Festivals.

Currently studying at Groundlings and UCB, Allison performs stand-up comedy regularly throughout Los Angeles and recently performed at the sold out Baby Bumps show at the Crow. Atlanta Arts Magazine praised her as “funny, romantic, terrified, unstable and guilty, often all at once.” She was also awarded Best Spoken Shakespeare Actor by the New York Times. She is a TEDx speaker known for her original theory of comedy."
