CONFERENCE: AI, MEDIA E SOCIETY (in English)
Artificial Intelligence: Economic Opportunities, New Art, New
Media and Emerging Frontiers of Technology
On June 11, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the Liceo Artistico Italo
Svizzero in Zurich will host the international conference “AI, Art
& Media and the New AI Economy,” organized by the Italian
Cultural Institute in Zurich. This interdisciplinary event will bring together internationally recognized experts, researchers, and artists to discuss the emerging opportunities and risks of the AI
revolution.
The evening will open with introductory remarks by Prof. Massimiano Bucchi, followed by a keynote address from Dr. Philip Di Salvo on the transformation of media ecosystems.
At the heart of the economic discussion, Dr. Andrea Schenone, author of the internationally growing book "AI Wealth Machine", will explain how AI is creating a new global economic infrastructure driven by automation and micro-entrepreneurship.
The artistic dimension will be represented by contemporary artist Stefano Cagol - a featured artist at the Venice Biennale 2026 - who will deliver a talk and a live performance addressing the ecological challenges of the Anthropocene.
The panel discussion will be moderated by journalist Bruno Indelicato.
