This is a free tour of Conestoga Meat Packers!The tour, is November 5th the tours will start at 10:00am and end at 12:30pm. To sign up, please fill out the google form attached by October 16th

You are responsible for your own transportation there and back. It is about a 25-30 minute drive from the university, close to the Kitchener Regional Airport. What is Conestoga Meats?
Conestoga Meats is a local federally inspected hog processing plant, owned by a group of hog farmers in Ontario. They are one of the largest slaughterhouses in Ontario, processing about 45000 pigs a week. We will be seeing the K*ll floor and the cutting areas of the plant. There will also be a presentation about the plant and how the plant is run.
