Welcome to 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, a national Civil Engineering competition and seminar organised by the ACI IUT Student Chapter. This upcoming event is designed to bridge the gap between academics and hands-on engineering practices. Driven by the vision of bringing young and aspiring civil engineers under the umbrella of sustainable design of building materials and boosting innovation in the field of construction technologies, it aims to gather students from universities across the nation to work on real-world challenges, master mix designs and test the limits of concrete performance through five highly competitive segments.

1️⃣ 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞
CaseCrete is a team-based structural case competition designed to encourage undergraduate students to critically examine the environmental impacts of concrete structures and develop innovative and sustainable solutions through concrete mix design.

2️⃣ 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫
PaperScraper is a team-based structural design and construction competition where participants turn ordinary paper into a stable, load-bearing structure. Structures are evaluated on the number of papers used, load-bearing capacity and overall height, applying the principles of structural design, stability, material efficiency and load distribution.

The Concrete & Sustainability Olympiad is a solo academic competition designed to assess participants' knowledge, understanding, and analytical ability in the fields of concrete studies, concrete technologies, sustainable construction practices, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the built environment.

The Mortar Workability Competition challenges teams to translate mix design theory into practice by proportioning, mixing and delivering a mortar that meets a defined workability standard.

Poster presentations offer an effective visual format for communicating complex civil engineering concepts at conferences and exhibitions. Topics may span across structural engineering, construction materials, concrete, sustainability, construction management, and so on.
