Concordia #4 (9-6-1) secured its postseason birth with a conference sweep of Saint Mary’s over the weekend. The Cobbers will host No. 5 St. Olaf (7-8-1) in the quarterfinal round on Thursday, February 23. The Oles also punched their tickets to the Playoffs with a weekend sweep of Gustavus. Concordia took both regular season games against St. Olaf to close out the month of January. Puck drop time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. next Thursday and the winner of that quarterfinal game will advance to the semifinals to face top-seeded St. Scholastica.The semifinal winners will meet on Saturday, March 4, in the 2023 MIAC Men's Hockey Playoff championship game. The game is tentatively scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Be advised that game date and time may change due to weather or facility availability. The MIAC Playoff champion will receive the postseason championship plaque and the Conference's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Tournament.
