Concord Cuddle Party: Review Party

About Cuddle Party:

We'll begin the event with a Welcome Circle where we introduce ourselves, go over the rules of Cuddle Party, and do some exercises to help practice the Rules of Cuddling. Following the Welcome Circle we’ll have a few hours for free-style cuddles. We’ll end with a short closing circle to reflect and transition out of the event. You do not have to cuddle at Cuddle Party. Feel free to bring a book, paper and markers, or just hang out and meet new like-minded people! What is a Review Party?

I am a Cuddle Party facilitator-in-training. As part of my training, I need a certain amount of review parties until I can get officially certified. What this means is I will ask you to please fill out a review of the party at the end (either via paper form or online). This will help me know what worked and what I can improve on.

Because it is a review party, this party is private and only open to friends and friends of friends. So please feel free to share with friends you feel will enjoy Cuddle Party and please do not share in a public forum... yet.

Location:

-Address will be disclosed after ticket purchase.

-There is plenty of street parking.

-Accessibility: There are three stairs to enter the location.

Cost:

-Suggested amount is $35, but offering a sliding scale if you need to pay less or you can pay more to sponsor someone who needs a little assistance.

-No one turned away for lack of funds. Pay what you can.

Please be on time:

-Doors open at 1:00pm and close PROMPTLY at 1:30pm.

-There will be no admittance after 1:30pm, so please be mindful of traffic.

Please bring:

-Pajamas or other comfortable clothes. There will be space to change, if need be.

-Any other items that make you feel comfortable. Pillows, blanks, and other fluffy item will be provided, but if you have a favorite blanket or stuffie, please feel free to bring them along.

Snacks:

-Snacks will be provided. We will do our best to accommodate food allergies, but if you have a particular food allergy or have a snack you would like to share, then please feel free to bring it.

Covid Policy:

-You MUST be fully vaccinated with at least one booster and show proof at the door. A digital verification can be accessed here https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov

-You MUST take a rapid test the day of the event and show either a time-stamped (including date) negative test result or test upon arrival. If you test upon arrival, please wear a mask until your test is negative.

-If you have any Covid symptoms, have been recently exposed to Covid, have a rash, or symptoms of an illness of any kind, please stay home. Your ticket will be refunded.

Other important info:

-You must be 18+ to attend.

-This is a sober event. Please do not attend under the influenced of any substances.

-This is a low-scent space. Please do NOT wear heavy scents or perfumes. Many people are sensitive to them.
