The Rhode Island Historical Society will kick off the 27th season of its beloved Concerts Under the Elms series this summer! The six-week series, hosted on the Great Lawn of the John Brown House Museum, will feature a lineup of returning favorites and first-time performers. Each evening will also feature a specially selected food truck.Help us close out the concert season on Thursday, August 1st at 6:30pm! We will welcome a new performers to the series, Alexus Lee, a Providence-based artist who has been with her effortless blend of soul, jazz, and R&B. On the stage, she dazzles audiences with her soulful storytelling, masterful vocals, and infectious grooves. Food provided by Cultrō.
Concerts are free for RIHS members and $10 for nonmembers. Membership packages start at $40. Guests are welcome to bring chairs and coolers.
For the first time, we are offering flexible passes to this year's concerts, allowing guests to purchase tickets in advance that can be used at any concert during the six-week season! Each pass provides access for one individual to a single concert. Passes are redeemable at any point during the 2024 CUE season, but will expire in September 2024 and cannot be used for future seasons. Please note that this season has a rain date of Thursday, August 8, in the event that a concert needs to be canceled due to inclement weather.
Passes are $10 for non-RIHS members. Children under 12 are free. RIHS members receive free admission to all concerts, with memberships starting as low as $40. Please visit our website for more information.
Guests to our concerts are welcome to bring their own chairs, blankets, and coolers. Please note that dogs are not permitted unless they are service dogs. Support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
