Please join us Thursday August 8th at 6pm for Stroudsburg Borough’s Summer Concert Series with Without George.
Without George is both the name of the band Mark Spellman & Johnny Holleran formed in the west of Ireland with Damien Mullin & Chris Green in 2003 and the projects Mark & Johnny have continued in the USA since 2011.
The band has been appearing with a wide range of musicians since relocating, most recently collaborating with multi-instrumentilist Rameen Shayegan for live acoustic performances.
The group released their debut LP “Without George” featuring 11 original tracks in 2008 and the band toured extensively in Ireland & Europe, including support slots with Blondie, Irish acts The Stunning, The Sawdoctors and BellX1 before relocating to NYC in 2011.
