Concert with the Godwine Choir: A Hundred Sunsets

Join us this November for an evening of music and readings for Remembrance. The programme includes Hubert Parry's "Lord, Let Me Know Mine End," from his exquisite set of part-songs Songs of Farewell, alongside Herbert Howells' radiant "Take Him, Earth, for Cherishing," written in memory of President John F. Kennedy. We'll also perform Thomas Tomkins' dramatic Jacobean masterpiece "When David Heard," Ivor Gurney's soaring "The Trumpet," and Richard Rodney Bennett's tender "A Good-Night."
