A tribute concert to the great vocalist Vicky Moscholiou who inthe early 60s and at the tender age of 21, pioneered a new style
of vocal expression singing songs of all time great composers the
likes of Yiorgos Zambetas, Stavros Xarhakos, Apostolos Kaldaras,
Yiannis Spanos, Yiannis Markopoulos and many others becoming
the “female voice” of contemporary urban music (Entechni Laiki
Mousiki). An ensemble of Adelaide’s weathered musicians with
vocalists Joanna Chysostomou, Deanne Taliangis and Paras Siasios,
directed by Sofia Arhontoulis, will present a programme of Vicky’s
greatest hits accompanied by images of her illustrious career.
