Concert: Vibraphonist Nathan Hubbard's Hawaiian Jazz

The Green Mansions is percussionist and composer Nathan Hubbard’s musical tribute to Hawaiian vibraphone legend Arthur Lyman, famous for his hit “Yellow Bird” and many others. The Green Mansions uses traditional Hawaiian instruments and modern technology to recreate all your favorites from the Lyman catalog. You may hear traditional Hawaiian songs, jazz tunes, older folk songs from the Pacific Rim, as well as a few choice classics from exotica pioneers Les Baxter and Martin Denny.
