Concert: Selena Forever Tribute

Selena Forever Tribute will perform live at The Texan in Athens on Saturday, July 15, 2023 with Smoky B Barbecue on site with dinner and full bar available for purchase. Doors open at 6:00pm, and the concert will be from 8:00-10:00pm with a 30 minute break in between two 45-minute sets. This amazing show will bring Latin music fans and the music community together to sing, dance and continue celebrating and honoring the life, legacy, and music of Selena.

Selena Forever Tribute Band is a Dallas-based national touring act paying tribute to the legacy of Selena Quintanilla Perez, better known as Selena, the Queen of Tejano music. Selena Forever Tribute Band features national and international award-winning musicians with over 100 years of combined musical experience. Carymel Rodriguez is the lead vocalist singing all of Selena’s legendary songs.

The band's live shows feature Selena’s most representative songs and styles, including cumbias, corridos, and rancheras. Selena Forever Tribute Band also features songs from Selena’s productions in English. Each Selena Forever Tribute Band performance is entertaining and as inclusive as possible of Selena’s work. We try to portray the best of her while paying homage to her legacy.
