Opus Ithaca School of Music is presenting our 8th Annual Concert for the Community, “The Circle of Friendship,” on Sunday, March 1 at 4:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Don’t miss this family-friendly hour-long program!
Opus has assembled an incredible ensemble of professional musicians who will perform Grieg’s Holberg Suite, Schubert’s Trout Quintet, Charlie Parker’s Bird With Strings, and more. The concert will feature the Opus Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Guillaume Pirard; Odyssey Choir, directed by Melissa Rooklidge; Opus Jazz Quintet, featuring Colin Gordon on saxophone; and Ithaca High School Chorale, directed by Kristin Zaryski.
This concert is a gift to the community—it is free for all, no reservations or tickets required. Please join us for music that will uplift us and bring our community together.
