About this Event

One night. One mission. One unforgettable concert.

Join us the evening after Trans Day of Remembrance for Concert for a Cause — a joyful, music-filled party FUN-Raiser benefiting Stand With Trans, the organization dedicated to providing life-saving support to transgender youth and their families.

This is not just a concert. This is a community coming together to let trans youth know: we see you, we love you, and we celebrate you.

Featured Artist: Alise King & Her Full Band

Detroit's own Alise King — multi-award-winning R&B Soul powerhouse — takes the stage for two live sets with her full band in an intimate, high-energy performance you will not want to miss.

Alise has shared stages with Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, The Jacksons, Cynthia Erivo, and Musiq Soulchild. She is a Detroit Black Music Award winner for Best R&B Female Artist, a BET Apollo Live Detroit winner, a Spirit of Detroit Award recipient honored by the entire Detroit City Council, a 2026 Unified Women's Empowerment Award Honoree, and a Nominated Female R&B Artist of the Year. She has been featured on Fox 2, CBS Detroit, Live in the D, PBS, WXYZ, HOT 107.5FM, and KissFM, and has performed across more than 12 states nationally.

But beyond the accolades, Alise brings something even more powerful to this stage — her own story. As a queer Black woman who experienced early family rejection as a teenager, Alise knows firsthand the difference Stand With Trans can makes.

Alise is not just performing at this event. She is showing up — heart first — for an organization doing the work she once needed someone to do for her.

"I'm not just there to perform. I do meet-and-greets, I connect, give hugs, give love, give encouragement, give support. I want people to know I'm not showing up to get paid. I'm showing up to say, 'Hey, family.'"
