In his new project, Floex Ensemble, composer, producer, and clarinetist Tomas Dvorak returns to the essence of music, embracing pure magic and stripped-down beauty. A chamber sextet breathes life into Antonin Dvorak’s compositions, many arranged by multi-instrumentalist Jan Sikl.The performance features material from Floex's soundtracks that shaped the spirit of beloved PC games like Machinarium, Samorost, and Papetura by Amanita Design, alongside rearrangements of his studio work.
Floex is also a multimedia artist, blending music with innovative projects, such as his robot drummer, Josef, who accompanies him in live shows and DJ sets. He comes to the Czech Center New York with a customized ensemble, inviting local musicians to join him.
