Be enfolded in great music composed for inspiring buildings and special occasions. The choir will perform from different locations in the church as the music takes you from one spectacular place to the next. Chief among them is the ‘new’ Cathedral in Linz, Austria, where Bruckner’s sonorous Mass in E minor was commissioned, richly scored for eight-part choir and wind ensemble.
Other composers convey us through England and France to Italy, from Durham Cathedral to St Mark’s, Venice and even to Chopin Airport, Warsaw! An adventurous experience of wonderful sound.
Programme to include:
Motets by Górecki, Duruflé, Pärt, Bruckner and Vaughan Williams.

Bruckner Mass No.2 in E minor
Beeston Parish Church, NG9 1EJ is warm and comfortable. Refreshments included in the ticket price. Beeston Interchange, where the Toton Lane tram, NCT bus 36 and Trent Barton 'Indigo' all stop, is a minute's walk from the church.
