Thanks to the elegance of his Blues-voicing guitar solos, his percussive rhythms inspired from Hip-Hop and his harmonic finesse learned from Jazz, guitarist and producer Moogisha has been able to forge his own musical singularity. His influences are John Mayer, Tom Misch and Parcels among other musicians. His debut EP Every Road is a piece which takes inspiration from multiple genres, such as Hip- Hop, Neo-Soul and Jazz.

20 10 - 20 40 Christian Crochet

Christian Crochet is a Moluccan-French 33 year old multidisciplinary artist: dancer, performer, musician, (fire)flow artist, poet and photographer based in Zandvoort. Born and raised in Breda, the Netherlands, discovered Latin style dances at the age of 10. Moved to Amsterdam where he discovered popping & locking, hiphop, streetdance while studying French literature.In his early 20’ies he discovered the festival scene where he performed as stage (Go-Go)dancer in colourful costumes and with props. Currently using more elements of Ecstatic Dance and improvisation in his dance acts and movement practices.His biggest inspiration comes from the modernist writer Virginia Woolf and symbolists such as André Breton and Charles Baudelaire.His poetry and music is characterised by the handpan & kalimba: a sense of ephemeral softness often found in nature and a touch of rekindled wonder. Lightness of the mundane: evocate serenity, uniquely detailed, floral and with a melodic flow of childlike enthusiasm and curiosity.

20 50 - 21 10 Luuk Geers

N ederlandish singer-songwriter Luuk Geers brings you to a world where thoughts and memories merge into musically infectious stories. Theacoustic guitar is central to his music.After the EPs Baggio (2020), Opgesloten nacht (2021) and “Live from Gorredijk” (2022)he is now working on new music. The single “Ik heb me lief” will be released in July 2024. The stepping stone to his first album. The music will go back to debasement. His voice, two guitars and additional cinematic sounds are reminiscent of a mixture of Kings of Convience and Nielson..In the meantime, he already has many performances to his name on large and small podiadoor all over the Netherlands. For example, he has opened for Nielson, Racoon andKenny B.

During the open mic, 6 more shortlisted musicians can showcase their own songs after the concert. Please sign up with a musician ticket for this event if you want to perform and bring with you your instruments. We will have a capacity of maximum 6 musicians, 1-2 songs per musician.

Location: Huis van de Wijk Rivierenbuurt

Time: Doors open at 7 15 pm. We start playing around 7 30pm.
