A 3-day immersive retreat where you can freely express yourself and connect with others through voice & rhythm.
About this Event

“Ori is music. He speaks, moves and lives music… since this adventure together I feel much more freedom in expressing myself."

“It was definitely worth the investment. I made more progress than I did in years and opened up in a way I never expected was possible.”
“Such a precious gift to yourself… The safe space allows you to surrender to the experience and to the group, t. Then the magic happens naturally.”

We are excited to announce that Ori Lavi will be in Berkeley this summer with his transformative Comusication workshop.

This 3-day workshop is a deep, playful and transformative journey of self-discovery where we will practice improvisation and creative flow, experiment with intuitive self-expression and experience the joy of connecting through sound, voice and rhythm.

Ori knows how to create a space for expression and connection, where you dare to play and interact through the sound of the moment, (re)discovering your unique voice, exploring non-verbal intimacy and vocal freedom, embraced by the power of the group.

What can you expect:

✔ UNCOVERING your unique voice as you let go yourself limitations

✔ CONNECTING with others. Exploring harmony and intimacy TOGETHER

✔ DARING to express yourself fully and authentically without fear

✔ DEVELOPING courage, confidence and responsibility in your creative expression

✔ LEARNING how music ‘works’: practical tools to enrich your musical vocabulary and flow

✔ IMPROVISING. Playing. Singing. Flying. Together.

About Ori Lavi:

Ori Lavi is an Israeli musician, therapist and group facilitator. He is also a solo artist and drummer/founding member of the groups Orot and Barefoot Doctors, performing and facilitating workshops around the world.

In 2012, while studying music therapy, Ori began developing Comusication™. Balancing life as a street busker in Berlin and attending seminars in Bilbao, Spain, he realized that music was not intended for trained musicians only to perform, and is a brilliant and accessible tool in evoking connection through mutual expression in a nonverbal way.
