Over the course of a weekend, a filmmaking couple attempts to blend into a community of uniform collectors. In this world of historical reenactment, where the lightness of role-playing collides with the weight of the memories it awakens, the game becomes increasingly unsettling.

À Saint-Nazaire, la grande industrie œuvre à ciel ouvert, là où la Loire rejoint l’océan Atlantique. Le film mêle les paysages singuliers de l’estuaire aux paroles d’habitants, comme autant d’acteurs pris dans les contradictions de notre époque et de la société du travail.

In Saint-Nazaire, heavy industry operates in the open air, where the Loire meets the Atlantic Ocean. The film brings together images of the estuary’s landscapes with the words of those who live and work in the area, portraying them as individuals caught in the contradictions of our time and of contemporary labor.
