Computer World Synthpop Club is delighted to announce our very first live presentation in Bristol - BIRMINGHAM ELECTRIC live in concert, as part of our 4-hour club session on Saturday 11 November 2023.BIRMINGHAM ELECTRIC is the brainchild of American expat singer/songwriter Andrew Evans. Along with OMD's Malcolm Holmes and Berlin techno guru Mark Reeder (of Factory Records and MFS Records fame), Birmingham Electric has released a series of singles and debut album Communication, released on Believe and Conzoom Records. Their dancey, groove-laden music is an authentic time capsule from another era, but it is also informed by and updated with a modern electronic sensibility.
They are a dynamic live act playing festivals and clubs across Europe, with this appearance at COMPUTER WORLD Bristol being their debut headline UK show. Their line-up is rounded out by drummer André Machado, bassist Aldo Viñerta, and keyboardist Lori Evans.
