Participants should bring their Techquity computer or can see if they are eligible to receive one at the end of class. Full attendance required. Guests Welcomed.
This class is recommended for participants who have attended Intro to AI or have some experience using AI tools.
Computer Basics 101 is a beginner-friendly session designed to help participants feel more confident using technology in everyday life.
Whether you’re new to computers or just need a refresher, this session covers essential digital skills that support work, communication, healthcare, education, and daily tasks.
Topics may include:
- Basic laptop and computer navigation
- Internet and Wi-Fi basics
- Understanding files and folders
- Email and online communication
- Device safety and maintenance
- Common tech terms explained
This session is designed to be welcoming, practical, and easy to follow.
You will get step-by-step guidance, hands-on practice, and one-on-one support from a Digital Navigator.
