We are going to offer an offline training program on Computer-Aided Drug and Peptide Design on July 1, 2022 - July 3, 2022 (Offline). In this program, participants will learn basic computational chemistry, related computational software and their application to research in chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, physics, and biotechnology. In this training, we will also focus on some examples of drug and peptide design related to SARS-CoV-2 treatment.Training Content:
The basic theory of computational chemistry, optimization and characterization of molecules by Molecular Mechanics (MM), semi-empirical and Quantum Mechanics (QM) theories, Molecular Dynamics (MD) Simulation for the conformational search of drugs and peptides, Density functional theory, Molecular Docking, virtual screening, Drug-Protein Interaction, Peptide-Protein Interaction, Protein Target Selection, Non-bonding Interaction, Drug-Protein and Peptide-Protein Molecular Dynamics, Interpretation and processing of computational data with different software.
After three days of training, the participant requires to submit a short assignment project on drug and peptide design within 30 days.

BS (Honors) 1st-4th Year/Masters/Young Professional in Chemistry/Pharmacy/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Microbiology
MBBS students/Medical doctors are encouraged to apply
Training Fees:
For Undergraduate & Graduate Students: 5,000/= BDT
For Professionals: 6,000/= BDT
Please note that we all work here voluntarily and contribute financially. The fees we collect are solely used for the development of the lab or to cover the monthly expenditure.

N.B. Participating in the training does not ensure continuation as a researcher at our laboratory because we have very limited capacity. However, if you are interested to join as a researcher, you may apply when we will recruit researchers in the future. Thanks for your understanding.
