Join us at the Garden District Community Garden Gazebo for an interactive composting workshop presented by Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful. Whether you're new to home composting or need a refresher, this workshop is designed to engage you in learning about what composting is, why it's important, and how to compost in your backyard. Workshops will be 45 minutes long and include a presentation, hands-on learning, and a Q&A.
Workshops will move indoors in the event of rain. Follow signs from the parking lot to the Lake Water Tower 3rd-floor conference room.
Need a compost bin? Pre-order yours through the City of Milwaukee’s 13th Annual Compost Bin Sale and pick it up on June 1! Order at recyclingconnections.org/milwaukee.
Remember your plants! The Garden District Neighborhood Association will be hosting a plant sale with a variety of vegetables and flowers. The plant sale is CASH only.
