About this Event
Join us Saturday, May 9th from 11 AM to 12:30 PM in our new environmental workshop series for youth and families.
This week's workshop, Compost Magic! :
Learn how composting turns everyday food scraps into nutrient-rich soil through a simple, hands-on process. Participants will sort organic materials into “greens” and “browns,” build a small compost system, and take their compost home to continue the process. Along the way, families will observe decomposition in action and learn how compost supports healthier soil and a more sustainable environment.
