The City of San Ramon and curbside waste collector, ACI of San Ramon, will be hosting a Compost Giveaway event at Forest Home Farms on Saturday, September 18th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (while supplies last).

Compost-amended soil improves both the flavor and nutrient value of the crops grown in this manner, and draws carbon down into the soil, reducing climate impacts.
Due to public health concerns, this will be an entirely drive-through event. Staff will place a one-cubic-foot bag of compost in the trunk/hatchback/truck bed of your vehicle as it is directed through the frontage dirt lot of Forest Home Farms. San Ramon residents (proof of residency required) will receive one free bag of compost per vehicle.
