Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center has scheduled its Sixth Annual Fall Compost Day! Little Bit has a commercial composting machine that composts our horse manure and wood shavings into a material that looks similar to peat moss. It is free from W**d seeds. Previous lab tests have showed levels of fecal coliform, so gardeners may want to limit where the compost is placed.
Bring your shovels, gloves, and containers and haul as much away as you can at no cost (donations welcome). If you want help filling the back of a truck or utility trailer, we can help you load using our front end loader. Just let us know!
